When I was a middle schooler, I read Revelation for the first time. I remember reading with wide eyes and open mouth. I had more questions than answers and I walked away thinking, man, that all sounds really scary. I have middle schoolers of my own now in the classes I teach at church and one told me she wanted to read Revelation. I saw a bit of myself in her and wondered if I could put something together that would have helped me when I was her age.
As I researched, this guide began to take shape. The beginning offers explanations, descriptions, and charts of ideas and topics that relate to Revelation. I also do my best to present the three main interpretations of the book without bias, so the reader can come to their own conclusions. Whether you are a young Christian in age or a new Christian in faith, this guide can help you get your feet wet as you study a difficult book. You can check out the free download here:
Investigating Revelation: A Young Christian’s Guide to the Different Views of the Apocalypse.
This guide has been a joy and a struggle to create. I have wrestled, I have studied, I have learned, I have pondered. Through it all, I have been reminded of the hope of Jesus we find in Revelation. So if you’ve ever wondered what people say the book of Revelation is about, here is a study guide filled with charts, sticky notes, symbols, tidbits I’ve picked up along the way, and the full text of Revelation. I hope it blesses you, and I hope you walk away feeling a little more confident in your understanding of the Bible.
Blessings!
