Hope in Suffering is Here!

I am so excited to announce that the latest Kid’s Companion is here and ready for you to download!

As a Sunday School teacher, many of my students felt like they couldn’t possibly understand the Bible.

“It’s too big.”

“The words don’t make sense.”

“I have no idea what’s going on.”

All of these are reasons kids gave me for their struggle to read the Bible. And I think if most adults were honest, they would say the same thing.

A dear friend of mine came to Christ and wanted to read the Bible to her kids. When she started, she was overwhelmed with their questions, as she herself was still trying to understand her newfound faith. These resources were born with a heart to help parents disciple their kids, and no longer fear the questions they ask.

Hope in Suffering: A Kid’s Companion to 1 Peter is a FREE Bible study resource for families to use as they read through 1 Peter with their children. I researched and compiled the sources of various commentaries on 1 Peter to break down the information and help children and new Christians to understand and apply the teachings to their lives.

This is a full-length book that includes sticky notes to help explain the historical and cultural nuances of the time of writing. It also defines tricky words and helps students begin to cross-reference Scripture. Finally, there are application sections throughout, offering questions and practical ways for kids to apply what they’re learning.

Read a section of 1 Peter to your children, then read the corresponding section in the Kid’s Companion. I pray that as you do, your knowledge and delight in the Word of God grows and grows.
